HOLDEN ZAVERY

A big boy, 9 lbs 4 oz, born this morning 10:28 a.m. I can't wait to see him and we will be taking off this weekend.

Being the excited gramma that I am, I only have one pic so far, so since I talked to his daddy tonight, he said he would be sending more. I want to see his eyes open.. So far he looks like his dad did at birth. This is Holly's new brother (the granddaughter in the tree pic I posted the other day).

p.s. I'm going to be redoing my blog tonight, I found different templates I want to try but I will probably lose my blogrolls so will have to rebuild them.

OH SO BUSY SINCE GETTING HOME

Have had my other three grandkids at the house, two of which have been here for a couple days. I haven't had any time to be on the computer so haven't been able to catch up with all of you.


My grandson was suppose to be born today but due to overscheduling with many women in labor and delivery up at the San Francisco Hospital where they go, Holden's birth will probably be put off until tomorrow. A friend is in town from So Caroline so will also meet with her in the next day or two and then we leave this weekend to go see the baby.

I found a few minutes to get on before we take off for the afternoon to take the grandkids out, so thought I would post a few photos from our trip. This is Holly in the tree at Hannah's house. When she saw the tree she immediately wanted to climb it. I love the way the light and reflections are on this photo. The other ones are of the girls, Hannah and Holly at a barn with animals we took them to, and playing dress up at Hannah's house. Hannah wanted to be a pirate, Holly a princess.

I'm hoping to have a little time before we leave town again to get back on the computer because I won't have one while we are away.

BACK TO TOWN LAST NIGHT

And it feels good to be home. We were gone nine days, that's a long time for me to be away from my house. The longest we have been gone I believe is five days in the past, except for when the kids were little.

We had a great time both up at the central coast for three days and on up to the Bay area for three days or so and then back down to the central coast for another three days.

We leave at the end of the week to go back up to the bay area to see my grandson after he is born. The date for a C-section has been set for July 1.

I'll be posting some pics soon and also catching up on what everybody has been up to.
